ECOhybrid is the innovative, intelligent and ecological system for heating and cooling the home and producing domestic hot water.


ECOhybrid is the ideal solution for renovations or for replacing obsolete boilers, as it is designed to take up little space and adapt to small rooms or very small spaces, without disrupting the existing installation and without complex and costly masonry work.

ECOhybrid is the ideal solution for renovations and replacements of old boilers, even in systems with radiators.


It is made up of a boiler and a heat pump: the boiler supplements the heat generated by the heat pump, depending on the outdoor temperature and the household’s requirements, improving energy efficiency all year round.

Energy savings are increased and CO2 emissions are significantly reduced, thus protecting the environment.


Even greater saving if a photovoltaic system is installed.

How to configure ECOhybrid

ECOhybrid is COSMOGAS FACTORY MADE and can be combined with:

  • Double condensing boiler, 24 or 34 kW, NOVAdens, INKAdens, CIELOdens, TOPdens, TOPdens T, MYdens and Q30 30 kW
  • FRYO Pi 6, 9, 12 kW hydronic inverter heat pumps
  • Hydraulic connection and system management box in 2 models (INJECTION BOX C one-circuit – INJECTION BOX CF two-circuit)

ECOhybrid can supply any existing system including with radiators or heating systems operating up to 80°C.

Injection Box remote control and external sensor are standard.

Always takes advantage of the cheapest energy

ECOhybrid always uses the lowest cost and most efficient heat generator according to operating conditions.

The heat pump uses the free thermal energy in the air, reducing annual energy consumption. When the outdoor temperature is lower, the boiler steps in to provide the required heat.

When the outdoor temperature falls below 7°C, the heat pump switches off and heating continues to be provided by the boiler.

Domestic hot water production is always guaranteed by the double condensing boiler that saves the user money even while it is being produced.

Intelligent control to optimise electricity and gas consumption

  • Mild outdoor temperatures (> 12°C)
    Only the heat pump activates, which is particularly efficient and economical under these conditions.
  • Cooler outdoor temperatures (± 10°C)
    Hybrid operation: the heat pump is still the most economical and lowest cost system, but if necessary, the boiler also activates to supplement the missing energy.
  • Cold outdoor temperatures (< 7°C)
    Only the condensing boiler activates, as the heat pump is less efficient than the boiler under these conditions.

Injection Box the intelligent and ecological heart of ECOhybrid

Injection Box uses the innovative principle of “heat injection”: when the heat pump cannot meet the system’s heating demands, the boiler is activated to “help”. The heat produced by the boiler is injected counter-currently into the system’s flow line, improving heat exchange efficiency and temperature regulation.

Two Injection Box models are available:

Model “C”: 1 circuit.
Model “CF”: 2 circuits.

Domestic hot water production is always guaranteed by the condensing boiler.

Injection Box is equipped with a deflector filter for the boiler, an adjustable differential valve for the heat pump, three-way valves, an electrical panel with quick terminal box and an electronic control unit.

Injection Box Model “C” – 1 Circuit

Injection Box Model "C": equipped with an inlet for the heat pump and boiler and one system outlet, which can be for radiators, fan convectors, etc. During the winter period, the heat pump heats and calls on the boiler when “help” is needed; below the cut-off temperature, the heat pump stops and only the boiler runs. During the summer period (if the terminal allows it, e.g. fan convectors), the heat pump can reverse the cycle and cool the rooms.

Injection Box Model “CF” – 2 Circuits

Injection Box Model “CF”: equipped with an inlet for the heat pump and boiler and two system outlets, one for radiators and one, for example, for fan convectors. The “CF” model can be used to supply two separate systems, one with radiators to heat in winter and one with fan convectors to cool in summer.
