ECOhybrid is a compact hybrid system that combines heat pump technology with the efficiency of a condensing boiler. An intelligent and environmentally friendly solution for heating, cooling and domestic hot water production in a reliable and sustainable way.


ECOhybrid is designed to minimize space requirements and fit easily into small rooms or confined spaces, without the need to modify the existing system or carry out complex and costly building work.

ECOhybrid is the ideal solution for retrofitting projects and replacing outdated boilers, even in heating systems with radiators.


It consists of a boiler and a heat pump: the boiler integrates the heat produced by the heat pump according to the outdoor temperature and household energy demand, improving energy efficiency throughout the year.

Energy savings are increased while CO₂ emissions are significantly reduced, helping to protect the environment.

ECOhybrid can be combined at the ordering stage with:

  • Inverter heat pumps: FRYO Pi, ECOtwin, ECOtower and Sylentia R290
  • Double-condensing boilers: MYplus, NOVAplus, KREA and TOPdens H
  • Exclusively with FRYO Pi: hydraulic connection and system management box – Injection Box C (1 circuit) and Injection Box CF (2 circuits)

ECOhybrid can supply any existing heating system, including radiator systems or heating systems operating at temperatures up to 80°C.

Use the most cost-effective energy at all times

ECOhybrid always uses the most economical and efficient heat generator according to the operating conditions.

The heat pump harnesses free thermal energy from the air, significantly reducing annual energy consumption; when outdoor temperatures drop, the boiler steps in to supplement the system and provide the required heat.

When the outside temperature falls below 7°C, the heat pump is switched off and heating continues to be supplied by the boiler.

Domestic hot water production is always ensured by the double-condensing boiler, which also helps the user save energy during its operation.

Smart Control

ECOhybrid automatically selects the most efficient heat generator based on climatic conditions:

  • In mild temperatures, only the heat pump operates.
  • In intermediate conditions, hybrid mode is activated, with the boiler providing support only when necessary.
  • In very low temperatures, the boiler ensures maximum performance and continuous comfort.

Injection Box the intelligent and ecological heart of ECOhybrid

Injection Box uses the innovative principle of “heat injection”: when the heat pump cannot meet the system’s heating demands, the boiler is activated to “help”. The heat produced by the boiler is injected counter-currently into the system’s flow line, improving heat exchange efficiency and temperature regulation.

Two Injection Box models are available:

Model “C”: 1 circuit.
Model “CF”: 2 circuits.

Domestic hot water production is always guaranteed by the condensing boiler.

Injection Box is equipped with a deflector filter for the boiler, an adjustable differential valve for the heat pump, three-way valves, an electrical panel with quick terminal box and an electronic control unit.

DETAILS THAT MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

Sylentia R290

The most natural hybrid solution. When combined with Sylentia R290, the entire hybrid system is managed directly by the heat pump thanks to the CIMA electronic platform and the advanced Comodo Wi-Fi chrono control, supplied as standard.

Injection Box

When combined with the FRYO Pi heat pump, system management is carried out through the Injection Box. This device uses the innovative “heat injection” principle. The Injection Box is equipped with a dirt separator filter for the boiler, an adjustable differential valve for the heat pump, a three-way valve, an electrical control panel with quick terminal block and electronic control board, as well as a remote control and outdoor temperature sensor supplied as standard.

ECOhybrid-E e ECOhibryd-T

When combined with the ECOtwin and ECOtower split heat pumps, the boiler is used as an auxiliary heat source during the coldest winter days. The ECOtouch intelligent control system optimizes the available energy sources, ensuring the most efficient and cost-effective operation for the user.
