Tanium ZEN
The Tanium ZEN range, from 60 to 280 kW, comprises modulating condensing boilers for domestic hot water, patented and manufactured entirely by Cosmogas.
Designed to take up minimal space, Tanium ZEN units feature a vertical design to optimise space in both new and refurbished boiler rooms.
They guarantee a continuous flow rate of up to 160 l/min (Δt 25°C).
Thanks to their lightweight design, they are easy to transport, install and position inside the boiler room.

Hot water heat exchanger:
with a 100% titanium combustion chamber
The patented C.R.V. (Variable Radial Circulation) heat exchanger is at the heart of Tanium ZEN, developed on the basis of 60 years of Cosmogas experience, research and testing.
To withstand the aggressive combination of high temperatures and the chemical composition of the water, the tube directly exposed to the flame (first flue gas pass) is made of Grade 2 Titanium, whilst the second and third passes use AISI 304L stainless steel tubes, where corrosion is less severe.
The seamless triple-coil design preserves the intrinsic properties of both titanium and stainless steel, ensuring exceptional corrosion resistance, even with highly chlorinated water, achieving optimal heat exchange across the entire surface and offering thermal efficiency of up to 98%.
No storage

Tanium ZEN is designed to ensure immediate comfort by removing losses, waste and unnecessary system complexity.
Water is heated only when required, without permanent storage tank:
• Zero energy waste: no energy losses as in traditional storage tank systems, especially during intermittent operating conditions
• Lower risk of Legionella: no water stagnation, less risk of bacterial proliferation.
• Zero chemicals: no periodic disinfection, less maintenance, more peace of mind.
The instant-set adhesive that
adapts to the system
There are systems and usage habits that require something extra in the first few minutes and during peak periods.
Tanium ZEN can be connected directly to a small hot water storage tank, without interposed heat exchangers, maintaining all the advantages of instantaneous heating and increasing comfort during peak periods:
• Constant and stable temperature, even with small withdrawals
• Greater availability of DHW, during times of high demand
• Reduced burner ignitions, for lower energy consumption and less environmental impact
• Constant condensing, even with discontinuous use
• Direct domestic water heating, without efficiency losses
• Full power of Tanium ZEN utilised, when really needed
• Minimum storage tank volume: only 1 litre per kW
• Extremely fast recovery times, due to the absence of intermediate heat exchangers

Modularity
and operational flexibility
Tanium ZEN can be cascaded in a chain of up to four units using the TUTORbit cascade controller or any other 0–10V sequencer. TUTORbit regulates the modulation, from the minimum output of a single water heater up to the maximum output of four units, ensuring uniform operation and an equal service life.
The units can be arranged in a row with a minimum spacing of 10 cm between them to take up as little floor space as possible, and have been designed with front access to facilitate any type of maintenance.
Every detail counts
The Tanium ZEN comes as standard with:
- Pre-assembled flue, inlet and outlet manifolds reduce installation time and ensure a clean and safe hydraulic configuration.
- Pre-wired terminal block with clear labelling, for quick and error-free connection of pumps, sensors and control boards.
- The Vortex flow meter ensures precise flow control and optimal performance for every heat exchanger.
- Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled perfectly during installation (0-10 mm).
- Pressostato aria in ogni bruciatore, segnala quando lo scambiatore di calore necessita di manutenzione.
- Air filter: protects the burner and heat exchanger from dust and impurities, improving the system’s efficiency.
- Built-in condensate neutraliser, to restore the pH to acceptable levels. It also functions as a siphon.
And a dedicated sensor that stops operation if the condensate level exceeds the permitted limit. - Standard spare parts for the entire Tanium range. Simplified maintenance and quick repairs.

COVER-BOX T
Safe against bad weather
Tanium ZEN is available for outdoor installation with the additional COVER BOX T, the CE certified, fireproof, weather-resistant cover, made of anodised aluminium that provides IP X5D electric protection degree. Its reduced size and elegant design make its placement easy. Possibility of remote control via 885IF 0-10V interface.
VARIABLE-DISPLACEMENT STAINLESS STEEL PUMP
The advanced on-board electronics allow the Tanium ZEN domestic hot water heater to directly control the stainless steel constant-pressure pump in the primary circuit (available on request), which, in combination with the motorised two-way valves, ensures a perfect balance between output power and flow rate, maximising condensation.
WATERFALL MANAGEMENT
TUTORbit controls the operation of up to four Tanium ZEN generators in cascade, managing their sequential start-up and modulating the power output from the minimum of a single generator up to the full capacity of all four, ensuring they rotate to ensure even wear and tear.
