Tanium EON

The Tanium EON range, from 60 to 280 kW, comprises modulating condensing boilers, patented and manufactured entirely by Cosmogas.

Designed to take up minimal space, its vertical configuration optimises heat output according to actual heat demand and ensures maximum efficiency at all times, even in confined spaces.

Tanium EON can be installed in a daisy-chain configuration of up to four units using the TUTORbit daisy-chain controller or any other 0–10 V sequencer.

Maximum power,
minimum footprint

Tanium EON is designed for new installations and refurbishment projects in confined spaces. Its excellent power-to-weight ratio and compact footprint (600 × 700 mm) allow high power outputs to be concentrated within a minimal footprint, making it easy to transport and install even in challenging operating conditions.

Its compact dimensions allow it to pass through doors 65 cm wide.

Three heat exchangers in one
with a 100% Titanium
combustion chamber

The patented R.V.C. (Radial Variable Circulation) heat exchanger is the heart of Tanium EON, developed through 60 years of Cosmogas experience, research and testing.

To withstand the aggressive combination of high flame temperatures and water chemistry, the tubes directly exposed to the flame (first flue gas passage) are made of Titanium Grade 2, while in the second and third passages, where heat is reduced and corrosion is less severe, the Cosmogas heat exchanger is made of reliable AISI 304L Stainless Steel.

The three-coil, weld-free design preserves the intrinsic properties of both Titanium and stainless steel, ensuring outstanding resistance to corrosion, reaching an optimal exchange along the entire surface and delivering thermal efficiency up to 98%.

Continuous and intelligent modulation

Cascade burner management enables linear and progressive modulation of output.

Burners are activated only when needed and in a coordinated sequence, ensuring consistent comfort, reduced energy consumption, and efficient operation under all load conditions.

Gas savings up to 35% compared
to a traditional boiler

Tanium EON delivers significant energy savings throughout the entire heating season.

By maintaining high efficiency even during shoulder seasons, the system can reduce gas consumption by up to 35% compared to a traditional boiler.

High performance
even at low thermal loads

When power demand is limited, Tanium EON continues to operate with high efficiency, a condition that represents a large portion of annual system operation.

The wide turndown ratio, up to 1:20, allows the system to supply only the required output, avoiding on-off cycling and improving overall seasonal efficiency.

Modularity and
operational flexibility

Tanium EON can be installed in cascade sequence up to four units by using TUTORbit cascade manager or any other 0-10V cascade sequencer. TUTORbit manages modulation from the minimum output of a single boiler up to the maximum output of four units, ensuring uniform operation and equal service life.

Boilers can be installed side by side with a minimum spacing of just 10 cm, allowing the system to occupy the smallest possible floor area and the front-access design ensures quick and easy maintenance.

The solution for any installation

Tanium EON comes as standard with:

  1. Pre-assembled flue, inlet and outlet manifolds reduce installation time and ensure a clean and safe hydraulic configuration.
  2. Pre-wired terminal block with clear labelling, for quick and error-free connection of pumps, sensors and control boards.
  3. The Vortex flow meter ensures precise flow control and optimal performance for every heat exchanger.
  4. Adjustable feet allow the unit to be levelled perfectly during installation (0-10 mm).
  5. An air pressure switch on each burner indicates when the heat exchanger requires servicing.
  6. Air filter: protects the burner and heat exchanger from dust and impurities, improving the system’s efficiency.
  7. Built-in condensate neutraliser, to restore the pH to acceptable levels. It also functions as a siphon.
And a dedicated sensor that stops operation if the condensate level exceeds the permitted limit.
  8. Standard spare parts for the entire Tanium range. Simplified maintenance and quick repairs.

One interface, one logic

Details that make the difference

COVER-BOX T

For outdoor installation of Tanium EON, the COVER-BOX T is available: a CE-certified, fire-retardant, weather-resistant cover made of anodised aluminium, offering IP X5D protection. Its compact dimensions and elegant design make it easy to integrate into any environment. Service cabinets, Service Box T, are available for housing additional components, as well as INAIL Boxes, specifically designed to accommodate the various sizes of the INAIL kits.

MANAGE THE CASCADE SEQUENCE

TUTORbit controls the operation of up to four Tanium EON generators in cascade, managing their sequential start-up and modulating the power output from the minimum of a single generator up to the full capacity of all four, ensuring they rotate to ensure even wear and tear.

TWO WAY VALVES

On request, the Tanium EON can be fitted with two-way valves, which are essential for adjusting water flow rates to match low heat loads. By combining a variable-speed pump on the primary circuit, a further reduction in electricity and gas consumption is achieved.
