Thanks to an in-house Research and Development Center, Cosmogas has created unique, high quality products that stand out from the competition by using several patented internal components, such as R.V.C. and R.S.C. heat exchangers:
EXCLUSIVE PATENTED DESIGN – Since the early 90’s Cosmogas manipulates condensing technology by designing and developing two exclusive primary heat exchangers: R.S.C. and R.V.C..
EXCEPTIONAL RESISTANCE AGAINST CORROSION – The 3 series of stainless steel round tubes, which the heat exchangers are made of, are connected to grant the highest resistance against corrosion.
HIGH EFFICIENCY – Both heat exchangers have been designed to reach an optimal exchange along the entire length of the exchanger and to grant an exceptional efficiency up to 98% with savings on heating.
Radial Shared Circulation, with AISI 316L stainless steel wet chamber, to grant the highest resistance to corrosion, housed inside a resistant self-supporting monobloc made of stainless steel.
Radial Variable Circulation, with stainless steel AISI 316 Ti (Titanium) non wet chamber without weld joints to keep unaltered the carachteristics of stainless steel, housed inside a resistant self-supporting monobloc made of insulating composite.
During the operation, return water is distributed in a series of round tubes.
The advantage of such a system is to condense with return water temperatures at roughly (133°F) and to have excellent outputs of the boiler even in radiators systems. In the R.S.C. heat exchanger fluid circulation is radial shared, while in the R.V.C. heat exchanger it is radial variable.
The R.V.C. “variable” circulation of the fluid allows a flue gas/water upstream thermal exchange, this sets up high efficiency that quickly leads to flue gas condensing.

The innovating premix system employed in Cosmogas boilers allows an exceptional turndown ratio up to 1:20 (MYdens 1000 T).
Cosmogas ecologic premix appliances have a constant air/gas ratio in each point of the turndown range of the burner, decreasing emissions and streamlining efficiency.
The round shaped premix burner is made of “Fecralloy” a special metal fibre that spreads short and perfectly nourished flames.
